1．最佳桥樑造型
1. Best Bridge Shape
地平线与夕阳相调合的斜张桥
Geometry Responsive to the Horizontal Line and Sunset
在三种桥型中，斜张桥最具成本效益、藉由较细主梁、使地平线与夕阳相互调合、以吊索设计的多样性、实现与淡水文化相结合的设计。
Among the three main types of bridges, the cable-stayed design is the most cost-effective. Moreover, the thinner flat slab allowed by the design allows clear views toward the horizon.
2．有机的曲线缆索造型
2. Curved Cable Stays
斜张桥的曲线缆索造型与地平线及夕阳相互调合、以吊索设计的多样性、实现与淡水夕阳相结合的设计。
The unique cable arrangement produces a soft geometry that responds to the renowned local sunset.
3．与观音山天际线连成一气
3. Bound with Mountain Shape
藉由採取曲线吊索的形式、与观音山的山陵线形成一体、创造出柔和并优雅的天际线。其连续性使人联想到山陵剪影及龙形意象、形成融入淡水景观的设计。
The new bridge will create a graceful skyline that responds to the ridges of Guanyin Mountain, by implementing hyperbolic cables. The continually curving geometry invokes the shape of a sinuous dragon, or the silhouette of Guanyin Mountain itself, therefore merging the local landscape of Tamsui.
4．创新桥塔造型
4.Unique Tower Shape
人体造型的高低桥塔具有独创性，地标性。

5．情侣桥塔
5. Bridge in Love
人体造型的高低桥塔，经由缆索的牵引，如同恋爱中的情人。
Big and small towers resemble a couple in love.
6．动线配置
6. Lane Arrangement
藉由吊索及桥塔之设置赋予车道或LRT有机元素及柔和的印象、亦可从视野亳无遮蔽的步道观赏淡水的夕阳。LRT、车、行人可依位置的不同而观看到不同情景。对其留下独一无二的特别印象。
The arrangement of cables and towers separate LRT, cars and sidewalk, thereby allowing for uninterrupted views from the deck. Every visitor will enjoy a unique impression of the cable structure, depending on how they choose to cross the bridge, LRT, car, or on foot.
